Is there water at Goblin Valley?

How long do you need at Capitol Reef National park?
Because Capitol Reef is such a compact park, it’s fairly easy to see a lot in a short time. Although 2 or 3 days in the park would be ideal, it is possible to have an enjoyable time with just half a day or so. Because there are no food services in the park (except fruit in season), pack a picnic lunch.

The park is dog friendly so long as you pick up after your pet and keep them on a 6 foot leash. The park is open year round. The summers can get into the 90’s or low 100’s so we recommend visiting in the spring and fall. Goblin Valley State Park offers a great campground to park your campervan rental.
